Upper Iowa University’s second annual “UIU Giving Day” is set to launch on April 25. The campaign will last 1857 minutes—honoring our University's founding year—it will begin at 11 a.m. April 25 and conclude at 5:57 p.m. April 26. UIU was founded on the idea of philanthropy when Elizabeth Alexander gifted the building now known as Alexander-Dickman Hall to initiate this University. This year, join UIU alumni, friends, faculty, staff and students in the second annual Giving Day to commemorate this gesture.

Why does my gift matter?

Your participation is what is most important, not the amount. Each year, alumni participation rates figure into national rankings like U.S. News and World Report. Collectively, your support influences corporations and foundations that make their yearly funding decisions to UIU based on the number of alumni donors. When you give back, it reflects very highly in the opportunity we provide to our UIU students and the degree you earn.

How can I give?

Gifts can be made safely and securely online. Or give us a call and make a pledge. All committed pledge must be fulfil one week after the pledge has been made. before Please contact the UIU Alumni Office at 563-425-5388. We'd love to hear from you!

What else can I do to help?

Take time and spread the word! Tell your fellow Peacocks about UIU Giving Day by using the hashtag #UIUGivingDay. As we prepare for this 1,857 minutes initiative, we ask that all alumni, friends, faculty and staff, and students show their support. Continue visiting the UIU Giving Day page and stay tuned for more exciting announcements.
